My partner Stephanie Kierans has recently embarked on a hugely important project for our long standing client, Menkind. They will set up over 30 ‘pop up’ shops throughout the UK in the run up to Christmas selling cool gadgets and novelty gifts. This is a hugely busy and important time of the year for Menkind and its co-brand RED5, and Stephanie’s experience with and commitment to getting these ‘pop ups’ running is second to none.
One of my other partners, Charles Hodder has been working with award winning architects Assael for many years. Assael was in The Sunday Times British Homes Awards (Winner of Housing Project, Ham Mill, Stroud) this year having won The Sunday Times Architect of the Year in 2016. We worked with them on their move to new London premises in 2015 but their continued growth, and expansion into Assael interiors, meant we were back again in the summer helping them to take more space.
One of my key clients, Muffin Break, is currently enjoying strong growth of 14% per annum for the last three years. Having originally started in Canada, it now has over 300 stores worldwide, and more than 50 in the UK. It opened its latest new store in Chatham in the summer and has more planned. I really get under the skin of their business here and try to make sure I am one step ahead of them when it comes to their property needs.
As far as the Sherrards team is concerned, we too have seen significant growth not least to allow us to keep up with our clients. We’ve moved into new offices in London and St Albans in the last 12 months. We’ve taken on a number of senior lateral hires and strengthened the team at all levels. The one common theme running through everyone and everything we do however is our commitment to excellent client service.
