Ben is a lawyer in our employment team advising both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. He has a particular interest in resolving and minimising the effects of workplace disputes.
Ben has experience advising on all aspects and stages of the employment relationship from ‘start-up’ and recruitment to dismissal. He advises on general day-to-day employee relations and human resource matters such as absence management, performance management and conduct issues representing both employers and employees in Employment Tribunal claims. Recently, he acted for an employer in respect of claims arising from an alleged TUPE transfer and he also recently represented an employee in bringing claims of sex discrimination, victimisation and personal injury against her employer.
Ben also advises both employers and employees in relation to all types of workplace contracts, including settlement agreements.
Ben joined Sherrards from a niche litigation and employment firm in Buckinghamshire where he spent more than eight years. Away from the office, Ben has a young family and enjoys watching and playing sport.
