Corporate/ commercial lawyers- St Albans
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic solicitors to join our expanding corporate commercial team, based primarily in our St Albans office. Working directly for the lead partner in the team, Leigh Head, the role involves general commercial work as well as corporate/M&A deals. The team boasts an enviable client base, working for a range of clients of different sizes and sectors. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a close knit, supportive team, and to learn from the very best. The successful candidates will have general experience of both corporate and commercial work, in private practice (or exceptional in house experience). You will need between 1 and 8 year’s PQE, and strong training/experience from a boutique or medium-sized firm. The ability to cope in a fast-paced and pressured environment, whilst maintaining a calm façade for clients, is vital, together with strong drafting skills and a sense of humour!
Commercial property lawyers- London
We are looking for commercial property lawyers (3-6PQE) to join our London team. Our thriving property teams work for a variety of clients, and are growing in strength and depth. Working directly with the lead partners, this is an opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to progress their career and start to develop their own client base. The role would suit somebody who has experience from an established property practice in London, or a leading regional firm. We are looking for people who want to commit themselves to personal and professional growth within a supportive and exciting environment. The successful candidate will be interested in getting hands-on experience, providing first class client care, on a variety of transactions. You will have access to support and guidance from all levels, including senior associates and partners who have first-class pedigrees and are leaders in their field.
Employment lawyers- St Albans
We are looking for two new solicitors to join our thriving employment team, based in St Albans (but with opportunities to work across both offices). Working for the two Partners in the team, we are looking for a mid-level lawyer of 4-6PQE and a more junior lawyer of NQ-2PQE. Ideally, you would live within easy commute of St Albans and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for, and good experience of, employment law. We act for respondents and senior executives, on both contentious and non-contentious matters. We pride ourselves in our commercial and practical approach, with the focus being on good HR practice and commercial advice rather than simply regurgitating the law. We have a varied and loyal client base, across a range of sectors, and we want somebody who will further those relationships and become an integral part of the team.
Litigation/ dispute resolution lawyers- St Albans
We are looking for litigation lawyers to join our busy dispute resolution team based in St Albans. The successful candidates will provide support to the partners and senior associates in the department, as well as conducting their own case load. We need somebody who will actively engage in business development work, and if you have an interest in international work that would be an advantage. You will be motivated and ambition, and able to cope with a pressured and fast moving environment. Commercial acumen is a must, as well as a desire to provide premium client care. We are currently looking for a mid-level position (4-7PQE) who can handle their own case load but liaise with the client partners as necessary. Experience of insolvency work would be useful.
