Sherrards’ managing partner Alasdair McMillin took place in the 2014 London Cycle Sportive event last Sunday, a grueling 104km ride that takes in many of London’s Olympic landmarks including the Olympic climb at Box Hill and finishing at the 1948 Olympic Velodrome at Herne Hill.

The race was in support of Access Sport, a charity whose mission is to give more children, particularly in disadvantaged areas, access to a wide range of quality local sport. Alasdair says:
“It was very windy and stop start in London with the traffic lights. I’m actually quite pleased though as I’d only been back on the bike for the last 6 weeks and had just returned from a 3 day business trip in Rome which involved some late nights!”
We take our hats off to Alasdair who reports that his legs are not even sore after the race!
