Fundraising target doubled!

It is nearly three weeks since I completed the 969 mile Deloitte Ride Across Britain Challenge for charity. I still find it uncomfortable to sit and numbness at the ends of my fingers remains. However, I am in great spirits as I have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of the partners and staff of Sherrards, people I work with and my friends, who have enabled me to more than double my initial fundraising target.

The total is now in excess of £5000, far more than I ever imagined I would raise and I am delighted to have done this for the Rennie Grove Hospice Care charity.  Although I have no plans to return to long distance cycling, well at least not any time soon, I would however strongly urge any keen or amateur cyclists to take part and experience the amazing camaraderie and friendships I found.

Finally a massive thank you to everyone who has donated and supported me during the ride- I couldn’t have done it without you.
