Sherrards Solicitors’ quiz team, aka the ‘Red Hot Trivia Peppers’ (perhaps a less cheesy team name next time?!) were joint winners on the night in a thrilling three-way tie with Rayner Essex and Pictons.
The Red Hot Trivia Peppers, captained by Associate Solicitor Stephanie Kierans included Partner Terry Fendt, CFO Andrew Mills-Baker, Solicitor Sean Moriarty, paralegal Soma Fattah and myself. The event was a fantastic evening with some friendly rivalry and a cross section of talent that helped us against some very stiff competition!
The quiz hosted by David Clarke, Head of Clydesdale’s Business and Private Banking Centre in St Albans, helped raised £1170 for Hospices UK, a fantastic charity whose work helps the development of hospice care in the UK by supporting hospice people, championing the voice of care and promoting clinical excellence.
Team captain Stephanie Kierans said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to get together a varied group of our ever burgeoning team at Sherrards, each with their own specialist subjects, of course! Great fun for the team and an honour to take part in a very well organized event for such a good cause. It’s always a pleasure to meet up with the great and the good in the local community and to do so with a view to raising money for a local charity. We shall be preparing in earnest for the next quiz!”
