Alasdair McMillin
Managing Partner. Commercial Property
Alasdair has been Managing Partner of the firm for several years, though he still retains a certain amount of Commercial Property work. Over the years he has overseen many changes at Sherrards, during both buoyant as well as challenging times.
Alasdair is described by many as 'not your typical lawyer', something he takes as a great compliment! His driver has always been business success rather than legal intricacies and he sees his role as helping others achieve their business objectives. This approach is instilled across the firm. It is not enough for Sherrards' lawyers to have specialist legal skills; they also have to have excellent business acumen and a 'can-do' attitude.
